2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil¾ cup warm water

250g ground beef or lamb
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 green pepper, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast.
Add olive oil and warm water, knead into a smooth dough (about 5 minutes).
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, covered with a damp cloth. - Make the Topping:
- In a bowl, mix the ground meat with onion, tomato, green pepper, garlic, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Combine well until the mixture is smooth. - Shape the Dough:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
Divide the dough into 4 small balls and roll each into a thin circle. - Add the Topping:
- Spread the meat mixture thinly over each dough circle.
- Bake:
- Place the lahmacun on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy and golden around the edges.
Notes
- Serve:Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the lahmacun and serve with fresh parsley, tomatoes, or lettuce.
